PERRÍ CAMPER RIVERS
Actress & Producer
Founder & Executive Director, One Happy Camper Foundation

SPOTLIGHT ON PERRÍ
Perrí Camper Rivers, storyteller and creative visionary, discovered freedom and healing through the performing arts at a young age. That passion carried her from local productions to New York's Stella Adler Studio, where she began building a career in performance and production. Her journey took her behind the scenes at BET Networks, where she rose to become Chief of Staff for Specials, Music Programming & Strategy, and News. Perrí played a key role in producing some of the network's highest-rated scripted series, including Games People Play, American Soul, and Boomerang, as well as iconic live events like the BET Awards, Black Girls Rock!, and the NAACP Image Awards. Perrí eventually returned to the screen, with roles in American Soul, Reasonable Doubt, Family Reunion, The Bobby Brown Story, and more. As founder of One Happy Camper, she’s creating space for young people in overlooked communities to shine, using the arts to spark creativity, build confidence, and help every child feel seen, heard, and empowered to dream bigger. A graduate of Cornell University's Women Leaders in Entrepreneurship program, Perrí is on a mission to educate the next generation, not just in the craft of acting or storytelling, but in self-worth, discipline, and excellence.
